Hi, I am Jacob. This website has been made to be a home for my CV for any applications that I make for degree apprenticeships; I am looking for an apprenticeship in software development.
I love computers and technology. I enjoy coding and creating; I like to consider myself a very creative person. A large part of this comes from my love of films as a canvas for art. In fact, I am currently in the process of writing and creating an animated short film made from entirely hand-drawn images. I go to the cinema very often as it is simply my favourite place to be. I love it for the art, the big screen, the incredible speakers, the social viewing, and the purest form of movies.
Another form of art I love is photography. I enjoy all forms from abstract to street to graphic design. I enjoy to tell a story, portray a scene, and create emotions. I've shown some of my work below.
Back on the computer side of things, I love learning and overcoming logical problems which computers are just perfect for. They are also a place for me to utilise my enjoyment for mathematics.
I enjoy and am proficient in problem solving. I have always had a mindset that allows me to think through problems in a way such that I come to an efficient solution. I also see a beauty in the artistry of these mathematical and logic-based challenges from the problems themselves to the working and final solution. It's this admiration and skill for that sparks my interest in computer science as it perfectly encapsulates my love for maths and art.
